Crave Girl Centerfold - Brit

Ramblings From The Editor
This is without a doubt the hardest editorial I've ever written for Crave, and it's definitely the closest to my heart. After five years and over 100,000 magazines, Crave is saying goodbye. In February, my beautiful friend Pegi Chan was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma, a malignant brain cancer. I was given the honor of caring for her until the end of her life. She battled the cancer for five months and she was the bravest person I've ever known. In the midst of my grief I walked away from everything in my life, including Crave. It had become a huge obligation and it completely overshadowed my passion for music; I was beyond burned out. Running a magazine is a 24/7 job. It's not something you can do eight hours a day and go home at night. As hard as it is to walk away from something I love so much, I had to do what was best for my family, and my life. We will always consider Crave a huge success.
It is our sincerest hope that we made a difference for both independent musicians and in our local music community. Crave would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the bands, businesses, advertisers, clubs, writers, editors, staff, labels, publicists, and readers who supported us along the way. We never would have made it without you, and it's been a hell of a ride!
I'm tired of saying goodbye, so I'm not going to. Instead I'll leave you with this - It's better to be known for who you are, than what you do.
I'll see you around,
Robin R. Steeley
